From the drawing board
The first line of every project
Before anything is detailed, the studio draws by hand. The earliest sketches test how a space wants to be used — where light and movement fall, how rooms open onto the garden and onto each other. Resolving these fundamentals on paper is what every later decision is built on.
Room by room, on paper first
The plan is where proportion, circulation and the rhythm between spaces are settled. It is an unhurried, hand-drawn stage — worked and reworked until the layout feels right — that keeps the finished interior clear, considered and easy to live in.
